We left our house Wednesday morning for Vegas at 4:30am for a 7:30 flight. We arrived in Vegas at 8:30 Vegas time and stopped by Chilis at the airport for a bloody mary and some breakfast. We then headed to MGM to attempt to check in, even though we were there 6 hours before checkin time. We couldn't check in yet so we had them hold our bags and we headed out on the town. We walked up and down the strip, and thank goodness I had my hoodie on, because it was 45 degrees and RAINING. It rains like 2 days each year in Vegas, and of course, the day we get there was one of them. We stopped off at Margaritaville for a few beers and some nachos. Then we headed back to the room for a nap. Wednesday night we went to dinner at Seablue, which was one of MGMs fancy restaurants, and then headed to the Crazy Horse theatre for a burlesque show, which I really enjoyed. It was very tasteful and it made me want to take burlesque classes!
Thursday we got up and went to the food court for some breakfast. We headed out again to walk up and down the strip. It was a much nicer day- about 65 and sunny. We found a nice patio at Cabo Wabo and had a late lunch. After that, we went back to the room for a nap! Thursday night we saw the Cirque Du Soleil show called Love (The Beatles). It was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. I would recommend it to anyone going to Vegas and I would totally see it again.
Friday morning we were dragging a little! We decided to head to the pool for the day. We hung out there all day and just people-watched. Vegas has some of the most interesting people! Friday night we went to dinner at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant at MGM and did a little bit of gambling. We had an early flight out on Saturday so we didn't stay out too late. Overall, it was a really relaxing trip, which seems weird considering we were in Vegas. It was a much need getaway!

Me trying my last chance of luck at the airport on our way back (Note: The lady on the machine next to me won $600- so not fair!)
