When we put Rylie outside, she has to be on a stake because she runs off and gets into trouble. Barkley's new thing is to grab the tether and pull on it, causing Rylie to go wherever Barkley pulls her. It is the funniest thing because Rylie hates it but she can't really do anything about it. These pictures really aren't that great but you get the idea.
Look how big my Barkles is getting! It's only been 1.5 weeks since we got him!!!
On a different note, in case you haven't noticed, the Dallas area is getting some major storms today. This was our back yard when I left this morning. The golf course is completly under water and it is creeping up into our back yard. Apparently this happens every time it rains alot because Duck Creek is on the other side of the course and it floods. It is crazy because the water is flowing very fast just like a river would and there are trees and all kinds of debris flowing with it. It is kind of creepy.
Lastly, check out the video below. Terry is working on teaching Barkley all kinds of tricks. Last night they were practicing and Rylie kept running up next to Barkley in a "Look at me daddy I can do it too" fashion. Terry kept getting mad at her because she was distracting Barkely, but I couldn't help but laugh and grab the camera.
