Here are some pictures from our AMAZING trip. A few highlights:
1. American Airlines sucks. They lost my luggage so I had nothing for 5 days. High class problems, right? Stuck in Maui without luggage... luckily all you really need is a swimsuit, and sometimes, that is even optional. :)
2. Road to Hana- Absolutely breathtaking. I will do this every single time we go. Next time you go to Maui, you must do it also. I would recommend renting a jeep, because it made the experience so much more awesome. And instead of turning around in Hana, keep going. The road takes you all the way around the island, and it is crazy because it turns from beautiful green vegetation to desert, but you always have a view of the ocean.
4. Luau- Booooo. We hated it. Way too cheesy for us.
5. Sunset Sail- We did this on my birthday. I will definitely do it again.
6. Red Sand Beach- you have to do this, too. Awesome, yet very scary hike, but so worth it.
7. Honolulu- I would skip it. WAY too crowded. You can't walk two steps without running into someone. And it's not near as pretty as Maui.
8. Hula Pie- Delish. We aren't big dessert people, but we finished off all 6,000 calories of it every time we ordered it.

ReplyDeleteJust now saw this and I LOVE them all. You two looks super hot :) We went to Maui our second year of marriage and loved every minute. We did the luau (boo), the sunset cruise (alright) road to Hana (amazing), we also went scuba diving and parasailing. We went with my grandparents and they are both sick now, but those memories with them are priceless. Worth every penny...heaven on earth. However, it is a seven hour plane ride and Cozumel is only two and a half :) Still, Maui is heaven on earth and no place like it in America.
