Another Sewing Project Complete!
I've been busy getting things ready for Hawaii. After all, we leave in 32 days. I'm not sure if I have enough time to pack. :) Anyway, I wanted a new case for my iPad because we are taking it with us, so I started looking for one on the world wide web. I kept going back to etsy, where I discovered what's called an iPad sleeve. It isn't exactly what I wanted, because I really want a case, but then I got to thinking that I could get this precious sleeve to carry it around in, case or not!
If you know me, you know that I hate spending money on something I know I can do myself. I loved the chevron print on this one and went to JoAnn's to find the exact fabrics. Well, JoAnn's doesn't carry any chevron fabric. So I had to pick out something different. So here is what I went with. I followed this blog, which was pretty good. There were a few things I added, like the pocket on the outside. And she failed to tell you when to sew the button on, so if you ever want to make this, make sure you do the button before you sew everything together. You could also do a zipper, or add a strap to make it easier to carry. This was so fun, easy, and didn't take long at all!!!

Hobby Lobby carries the chevron print. They carry it in yellow, green and grey. I bought the yellow and green and made pillows for my couch. You did a great job on your bag!!
