We arrived on Wednesday and went straight to Dana's beautiful home. On Thursday we went grocery shopping and to Trader Joe's, which was awesome! Thursday night we went to Stone Mountain and watched the laser show on the huge granite mountain, and then watched fireworks. On Friday we got up to RAIN! But don't worry- we sure played Pictionary. And the phrase "LET IT DEVELOP" was born. Dad was drawing and said that phrase and it just stuck! Then we headed out to Berkeley Lake for a quick cruise around the lake. Friday night we went to the Varsity to eat burgers, then to the Braves game, where we saw fireworks, and they won! Saturday, we went to Lake Linier to go out on the big lake. We had such a great time and the lake was beautiful. Terry found some random swing hanging from a tree and swung off a few times. I passed on that one. Saturday night, dad cooked his famous salmon with mango chutney meal, and we hung around the house. On Sunday, we hung around until time for us to head back home.
Dana- thank you so much for letting us stay at your home. We had such a great time and I SO enjoyed spending time with you. It was also great to get to know John, and I am now obsessed with CP and his "be sad" trick. I have tried to teach Barkley, but it hasn't been successful. Give CP a big hug from us.
Enjoy the pics!
